Personalized Neuromodulation for Motor Recovery

This project aims to develop and test through controlled experiments a BCI system designed for neuromotor rehabilitation in individuals with neurological impairments or older adults experiencing limited mobility due to aging. The system integrates the decoding of neural information from non-invasive EEG signals with AI algorithms and the deliver non-invasive electrical stimulation to brain motor-related areas. The goal is to target cortical motor circuits to promote neuroplasticity, which is crucial for motor recovery and improving the quality of life for individuals with motor deficits.

System Features
  • Neural Decoding: EEG signal interpretation
  • Stimulation Targets:
    • Primary motor cortex
    • Premotor areas
  • Technology Integration:
